Heritage Harmony Singers

Organized in 2012, Heritage Harmony is a mixed-voice choir comprised of people who love to sing!  Including high-school-age students to the elderly, this group practices together and then sings for others as opportunities arise. Preserving and promoting the Christian tradition of acapella singing is one objective of our choir along with sharing the gospel in song with shut-ins, the needy, unbelievers, and also encouraging the saints. Also, a cross-generational mix of young, middle-aged, and older singers helps to build wonderful relationships within our fellowships. It is a joy to see teens seated next to grandparents, singing together to the Lord!

Besides singing for the yearly L.A.M.B. banquet, the group plans to sing at the Modesto Gospel Mission and other places if possible. There has been interest expressed in recording a CD, but no definite plans have been made presently. We currently have forty to fifty regular singers, and welcome more. We ask that singers be at least high-school age and under 120 years old. As David said long ago, “I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.” Psalm 104:33.
